Hampshire Golf is looking to expand their team with a new position of Assistant Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity within the County, to be part of a growing management team, with the main objectives being (but not limited to):
Providing the best opportunities for elite golfers in Hampshire,
Development of golf for all ages and abilities,
Assisting affiliated Hampshire, Isle of Wight & Channel Islands Golf Clubs,
Successful running and promotion of tournaments and events. Candidates should demonstrate the following qualities:
Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Access, Excel & PowerPoint. An understanding of the Intelligent Golf Software & Website would be an advantage.
Have an excellent understanding of Golf.
An outgoing personality capable of motivation but with strong and effective communication skills at all levels.....and a sense of humour!
Good organisational and administrative skills.
An excellent knowledge of social media and how it can be used for the benefit of Hampshire Golf. This is an essential part of this role.
Understand the variable demands of the position and have a willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends. A full Job Description will be made available to all applicants who meet the role criteria. Potential for including the GCMA Diploma qualification (or similar) in the package. Job Type: Permanent Full Time. Competitive salary and package will be provided commensurate with experience. Main place of Work: The County Office at Hockley Golf Club, although the role will require flexibility to travel for events, club support etc.
