Deputy Food & Beverage Manager - Mill Green Golf Club

We are looking for an Food & Beverage Deputy Manager to support the venue in the overall organisation, planning and supervision of the Food and Beverage department and who is motivated to succeed !


Operational Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining standard operating procedures in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager.

Lead the team on a shift and ensure high standards of service are maintained.

Support the team and help with their development for future progression.

Engage with the guests and ensure they have a memorable time with us.

Planning responsibilities

Manage all aspects of an event from pre-planning, Making sure you attend the weekly ops meeting with the correct information present.

Planning all event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining and guest list.

Responsible for scheduling for any subsequent client site visits, wedding tastings, 6-week appointments etc.

Demonstrating to client’s strong knowledge of venues and vendor offerings and taking clients on tours of venue possibilities

Coordinating event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers

Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising vendors

Making sure the function sheets are created for each event with the correct information displayed, updated

Communicating with marketing team to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary, crafting marketing materials such as print and Internet advertisements for individual events It is your responsibility inside one week of the event to update the kitchen & FOH team of any changes.

When on site this means physically printing the new function sheet and highlighting the changes, placing them on the function sheet board and making sure the teams are aware of the changes.

Responsible for making sure the functions sheet master is stored correctly on the share drive.


This is a hands-on role, working 5 days over 7 days in conjunction with the F&B Manager.


Qualities we're looking for Minimum 2yrs experience with Food & Hospitality Industry


We are seeking a well presented, enthusiastic customer focused person with an outgoing friendly personality. A desire to deliver a high standard of customer service is essential, along with good communication skills.


We would like you to work with an engaging manner towards our guests. High attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to stay calm under pressure.


Have worked within an Event operational role for a minimum of 1 years, with extensive operational experience with Capabilities of running events for up to 150 people


Commission: 1% of the pre booked value of the event you organise and run paid one month in arrears
