ASSISTANT CLUB MANAGER - North Foreland

NORTH FORELAND GOLF CLUB is situated at the tip of East Kent on a chalk cliff top, playable all year round with stunning views over the English Channel. Founded in 1903 the course has recently benefited from extensive improvement culminating in being awarded England Golf Championship Venue status and re-positioning themselves as a Top 100 club. The 36-hole venue is in an enviable position with a waiting list, a thriving Wedding & Events business and a destination for golfers from all over the country.

ROLE: A newly created role, Assistant Club Manager will assist and support the Club Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Club with responsibility for Membership, External Revenue Generation and Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate is likely to be a competent golfer, already working in a golf club environment and undertaking the CMAE education pathway or committed to undertake the education which will be funded by the Club. The position would suit an aspiring Club Manager looking to take their next career step, within a welcoming and inclusive club environment.

REMUNERATION: The salary guide is commensurate with the position and the overall package will include: 5% pension contribution, meals on duty & 20 day’s holiday entitlement

HOURS: Standard hours will 5 days out of 7 Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the role, there will be regular weekend working.
